It's Easy to Join!

A deposit of $25 or more into your Share Savings Account represents your share (member ownership) in the credit union. Unlike other financial institutions that are controlled by stockholders, a credit union is comprised of and run by its member/owners. Your Share also entitles you to vote for your Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and to take advantage of all of our excellent financial services. You enjoy lifetime membership no matter where you may live or work as "Once A Member, Always A Member" is our credit union philosophy.

If you live in the Red Wing area, simply stop by our office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or 8:30 a.m. to Noon on Saturday. Any of our Member Service Representatives will be happy to explain how you will benefit financially from joining the Red Wing Credit Union. Who Can Join RWCU

A credit union exists to serve a specific group of people, such as a group of employees or the members of a professional or religious group. This is called a "field of membership." The field of membership may include where they live, where they work, or their membership in a social or economic group.

Membership in the Red Wing Credit Union is open to all citizens who live, work, and worship, attend school, and transact business or other legal entities in the community of Goodhue County, Minnesota.

Even if your family situation changes and you no longer meet our membership criteria, you can remain a member of the credit union and your family remains eligible to join.
