What is Mobile Banking?
Mobile Banking provides easy access to your Red Wing Credit Union accounts real time from your mobile phone or tablet. Review your account balances and transaction history, transfer funds between accounts or to family and friends through POP Money, pay bills or deposit checks. (Mobile check deposit feature available June 10, 2015)

Why should I use Red Wing CU's Mobile Banking?
Mobile Banking provides the confidence you can efficiently manage your finances in everyday situations with ease and convenience. Tasks where access to accounts would be valuable include:

  • When making purchases, you can quickly check your account balance to ensure you have sufficient funds to complete the transaction.
  • The need to a pay a bill when you are away from home, grab your mobile device and complete a quick and easy bill payment on the go.
  • Family or a friend needs money? Transfer funds via pop money on your phone.
  • Need to deposit a check and don't have time to get the credit union or ATM access? Use Remote Deposit on your mobile phone or tablet. Just snap a picture of the front and back. Make sure the check is endorsed with your name and the words "For Mobile Deposit Only" below.

How do I get Red Wing CU's Mobile Banking?
Simply find our Red Wing Credit Union Mobile Banking app from your device app store and download. Please note that if you have not done so already, you must enroll in RWCU Online Banking.

To learn more about other mobile banking options, login to Red Wing Credit Union online banking. Then select the Account Services tab, choose Requests and click on Mobile banking enrollment. Finally, accept the terms and conditions agreement. Service descriptions are then displayed, with a comparison chart highlighting the service options available to you. Step-by-step instructions to enroll are provided.

Is my mobile device secure to use for banking?
Mobile Banking uses 128-bit SSL encryption in addition to a strong firewall to protect your account data transmission. The service locks after 3 failed login attempts, protecting you from unauthorized intrusions.

Is there a cost for Mobile Banking?
Red Wing Credit Union does not charge a fee for mobile banking, however based on your service plan, message and data rates may apply. Fees are assessed for mobile deposit $0.50 per check deposit. POP Money fees are documented in the transaction based on dollar amount entered and time delivery chosen.

What if my phone gets lost or stolen?
If this were to happen, you should know your mobile banking access is secure.

  • Your account information (including your password) is not stored on the phone.
  • Your login session automatically times out after a short period of activity.
  • Your mobile access can be deregistered at any time through online banking or by calling the credit union at 651-388-7133 and we can suspend your account.
